Jasmine is passionate about family law and believes in strong oral advocacy and access to justice.
Jasmine earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2011, specializing in criminology and criminal justice. She continued her studies by graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent in 2013. Jasmine later completed her articles and was called to the Ontario Bar, and then shortly after to the Alberta Bar. She has worked as a family lawyer in Ontario and in Alberta, regularly appearing in court on behalf of her clients.
Jasmine has helped numerous families successfully and efficiently settle custody, access, support and property issues both inside and outside of a courtroom. She strongly believes that settlement and negotiation when appropriate, can help families remain amicable, co-parent effectively and manage legal costs following a separation or breakdown of a relationship. Jasmine also represents clients seeking and opposing Permanent and Temporary Guardianship of children.
Jasmine’s expertise, compassion, confidence and strong advocacy skills make her an excellent family lawyer, and a benefit to our clients and the firm. We are grateful for the ways that she goes the extra mile to ensure that our clients are cared for and understood, while she helps them to receive the best possible results in their situation.
